We hope this message finds you well. Today, we’re reaching out with some bittersweet news – after careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to wind down operations for HalaPlay. This was not an easy choice, as your passion and support mean the world to us. However, on account of business decisions, kindly note that we will be ceasing all operations of the HalaPlay platform, available at https://www.halaplay.com/ (“Platform”) by May 7, 2025.
What this announcement means for you:
- Final play period: The Platform will remain fully accessible until May 7, 2025.
- In-Game purchases: As of May 7, 2025, all real-money transactions will be disabled on the Platform.
- Withdrawal of winnings: Users are entitled to claim withdrawals of their winnings as reflected in their respective HalaPlay accounts by utilizing the existing withdrawal mechanism on the Platform on or before May 7, 2025. Kindly note that all withdrawals of winnings shall be subject to deductions as per applicable laws.
- Deposit Balance: Users are encouraged to experience and play on the Platform whilst utilising their respective deposit wallets on or before May 7, 2025. Alternatively, given the extenuating circumstances of the Platform being closed, users can also opt to seek refund of their existing balance deposit amounts by writing an e-mail to us at care@halaplay.com on or before May 7, 2025 with a refund request, indicating the amount sought to be refunded along with requisite details of the source account into which refund should be processed. Kindly note that any refund of such deposit amounts shall be subject to deductions as per applicable laws. It is further clarified that Bonus amounts are not eligible to be refunded.
- Failure to claim refund or withdrawal: Please note that a failure of a user to claim any refund or withdrawals from their respective HalaPlay account by May 7, 2025 as indicated above shall result in a forfeiture of the said amount in favour of Openplay Technologies Private Limited.
