The three teams will be in action in the opening day of Vanuatu T10 Carnival. We take a look at the players who could play a vital role in the first two matches of the tournament.

Patrick Matautaava (ALLR): Matautaava is the only Vanuatu player to score a T20 International hundred since 2019. He scored a 52-ball 103 against Malaysia in October last year. Three days later, he smashed a 66 off just 29 balls. The 28-year-old has also taken nine wickets in T20Is played after 2019.
Clement Tommy (WK): Tommy represented Vanuatu in the last year’s Pacific Games. He scored 102 runs in five matches and scored a 47 against Samoa.
Andrew Mansale (BWL): The captain Mansale is the second leading wicket-taker for Vanuatu in T20 Internationals since 2019. The spinner has taken 13 wickets in 10 innings and took a career-best 3-13 against Samoa.
Masel Taea (BWL): Taea picked up three wickets in four matches in the 2020 U-19 World Cup regional qualifier.
Womajo Wotu (BAT): The opening batsman top-scored for Vanuatu, 33, against Japan in the U-19 World Cup regional qualifier match held in 2019.
Worek Tastuki (BWL): Tastuki was the second leading wicket-taker with 11 wickets in a U19 Championship a few years ago.
Williamsing Nalisa (BWL): The 20-year-old has collected five wickets in nine T20 appearances for Vanuatu.
Panthers
Joshua Rasu (BAT): Rasu is Vanuatu’s leading run-scorer since 2019. He has scored 374 runs in 13 innings and has hit two fifties.
Wesley Viraliliu (BWL): The 21-year-old has produced a match-winning performance 3/19 against Samoa in the 2019 Pacific Games. He has also represented Vanuatu in U19 World Cup region qualifier.
Edwell Kalfau (BWL): The medium-pacer picked up the most wickets in the 2020 U19 World Cup Asia-Pacific region qualifier. He claimed 15 wickets, including an eight-wicket haul against Samoa.
Simpson Obed (BWL): Simpson Obed took six wickets in four matches against Malaysia in the T20 series. He also registered his best bowling figures, 3/23.
Lazaro Carlot (BAT): The 30-year-old has represented Vanuatu U19 side and has scored a half-century against USA in the 2010 U19 World Cup qualifiers.

Nalin Nipiko (ALLR): Nipiko was Vanuatu’s top run-scorer in the final round of the 2020 T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific Region qualifier. He hit 124 runs, including two fifties, in four innings. He was also Vanuatu’s highest wicket-taker in the five T20s against Malaysia in October 2019.
Obed Yosef (BWL): The spinner has taken eight wickets in four matches in U-19 World Cup qualifier match held in 2019.
Apolinaire Stephen (BWL): Stephen made his T20 International in Vanuatu’s trip to Malaysia in 2019. He took 2/15 in the fourth T20.
Wolford Kalworai (BAT): Kalworai has played for Vanuatu in the World Cricket League in 2013 and 2018 editions.
Jamal Vira (WKT): The 36-year-old, who bats at No.7 for Vanuatu, has made small but valuable contributions against Malaysia in the T20 series.
