German League becomes the first major European league to resume their season after the pandemic forced football leagues across the world to postpone their 2019-20 season.
Nine gameweeks remain in German League. Here’s the fantasy football preview of Saturdy’s Dortmund vs Schalke, Leipzig vs Freiburg and Frankfurt vs M’gladbach matches.
Dortmund vs Schalke
Dortmund would be eyeing a victory against Schalke as it would take them a point closer to league leaders Munich. Meanwhile, the sixth-placed Schalke are winless in their last seven German League matches.

Daniel Caligiuri (MID): The midfielder has scored four goals in six games against Dortmund in German League. He has scored a goal and an assist in his last match for Schalke.
Amine Harit (MID): Harit is having a stellar season for Schalke. The 22-year-old has scored six goals and is the club’s second top goalscorer in German League this season.
Suat Serdar (MID): The 23-year-old was on target the last time Schalke won a game in German League. He is the club’s top scorer in the league – 7 goals.
Benito Raman (FWD): Raman has scored four and assisted four goals in German top-flight this season. He scored in four consecutive games in 2019.
Matija Nastasic (DEF): Nastasic is expected to lead the Schalke back four in the absence of key defenders. The centre-back had only made 13 appearances in all competitions due to injuries.

Leipzig vs Freiburg
Leipzig is still in the hunt for the German League title. The 2016-17 season runner-up are five points off leaders Munich, while Freiburg, who is eighth in the table, is pushing for a top-six finish.

Nicolas Höfler (MID): Höfler has made 23 appearances for Freiburg in the 2019-20 season. The defensive midfielder had scored against Leipzig at home this season.
Jonathan Schmid (MID): The wing-back is enjoying another brilliant season in Freiburg colours. He has scored four goals in German League this season.
Nils Petersen (FWD): Pietersen is Freiburg’s top scorer with eight goals. He had also scored in the 2-1 win over Leipzig in 2019.
