Here comes a short interview with him!
Tell us a little bit about yourself. Where you grew up, went to school, what you did before Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS)?
It’s my pleasure to be a part of this programme. I’m Er Lucky Kumawat from a small village of Rajasthan. I completed B. Tech from Kuchaman City and that’s why have kept my username Kuchamanwale on Halaplay. Before Fantasy Sports, I was just occupied with studies and used to play other games online.
When did you start playing on HalaPlay and how were you introduced to it?
I started playing on HalaPlay sometime in 2017. Someone had shared his winning on Twitter and that’s what caught my attention. I’m glad he tweeted about it.
Tell us a bit about your Daily Fantasy journey. The struggles you had and successes.
Fantasy Sports is full of ups and downs. In the beginning, almost every player struggles but that’s something that I used to believe in till I joined HalaPlay because I’ve had a very good experience since the beginning itself.
What is the criteria for choosing players (Current form, past records etc.)?
Before picking any player I look at his current form along with his batting/bowling order in the team. Apart from these, even pitch and weather conditions play a vital role in the team selection for Fantasy Cricket.
What is your strategy while choosing a captain for the team?
For the captaincy, I prefer selecting a safe player who is generally chosen as the captain in the masses. If not that, I prefer an All-Rounder over a batsman.
Which leagues are your favourite on HalaPlay?
All grand leagues on HalaPlay are my favourite leagues.
Which was your best day on HalaPlay and what do you remember about it?
It was 28th August 2018 when I had cleared my hand on all the Grand Leagues of the platform for a match. For the first time, I had won a huge amount on Halaplay and that’s why I still remember it till date.
How has your experience been with the Season Passes and what is it that you like the most about them?
Season Pass is one of the most distinct and best features of HalaPlay I believe. Once you own one, there is a sense of power that comes along with it that empowers every Fantasy Cricket player and inspires him to play more and more along with magnifying the profits and lowering the investment.
We see that you have played both Fantasy Cricket & Fantasy Football, how would you rate them in terms of excitement and competitiveness?
I have less knowledge of Football so I prefer Fantasy Cricket most of the time. Sometimes it happens that any of my friend drafts a team for me then I do go ahead and play Fantasy Football because of the trust I have in them and their expertise.
If you had one piece of advice to offer to a player new to DFS in terms of strategy, what would it be and why?
Invest as much as you can afford to lose, don’t get carried away. You just can’t win every game, you will surely suffer losses many a times but try to be patient when things don’t happen as per your planning.
Don’t invest blindly in frustration. Play selective matches and keep believing that, “Aapka Time Aayega”.
Where do you see yourself down the road in regards to DFS? Do you want it to be a long-term thing for you?
It is surely going to be a long term thing for me. I find it the best earning opportunity that exists in the given time and age. Not to undermine the fact that it gives decent profits regularly to fulfil my small desires in life.
